Having celebrated Earth Day since the Company's founding in 1978, the activist-based brand pioneered Earth Month in April 1999. Aveda has since raised more than $32 million for organizations that directly affect environmental change, and $26 million for water-related causes alone over the past seven years.
2014 AVEDA EARTH MONTH CAMPAIGN
Clean water changes lives. Throughout the month of April, Aveda's 2014 Earth Month campaign will unite its network professionals and guests globally to raise $7 million to protect clean water. The Collega Aveda network in Canada seeks to raise $600,000. Our key fundraising projects include our 8th annual Walk for Water held across the nation on April 22, 2014 and the Aveda Global Cut-a-Thon on April 7, 2014.
